Salesforce Tester Job Description
The Salesforce Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality reliability and performance of Salesforce applications This role involves manual and automated testing of Salesforce features integrations and customizations working closely with developers’ business analysts and stakeholders to deliver robust solutions
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and execute test plans and test cases for Salesforce applications
Perform functional regression unit load security and deployment testing
Identify document and track defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA
Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
Automate test scripts using tools such as Selenium QTP or Assure Click
Participate in requirement and design review meetings to provide feedback from a QA perspective
Set up and maintain test environments and frameworks
Ensure compliance with SDLC and Agile methodologies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science IT or related field
Proven experience in Salesforce testing Salesforce Com or Force Com
Familiarity with Salesforce CRM modules and custom development
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
