Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and mentor the testing team in executing end-to-end functional testing procedures.
2. Develop test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on project requirements.
3. Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize testing activities and ensure timely delivery.
4. Execute and automate test cases using selenium for efficient testing.
5. Identify and report defects, track defect resolution, and ensure closure.
6. Work closely with the development team to ensure test coverage and quality metrics are met.
7. Provide regular status reports and participate in project status meetings.

Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency in end-to-end functional testing methodologies and best practices.
2. Strong experience in selenium automation testing and scripting.
3. Sound knowledge of software testing techniques and tools.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and prioritize tasks.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities
1. Test Automation Development:
– Design and implement automated test scripts for database validation.
– Use tools like SQL, Python, Webdriverwith DB connectors, or specialized DB testing tools.
2. Data Validation:
– Verify data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across systems.
– Validate ETL processes and data transformations.
3. Performance Testing:
– Test database performance under load.
– Identify slow queries and optimize them.
4. Schema Validation:
– Ensure database schema changes are correctly implemented.
– Validate constraints, indexes, triggers, and stored procedures.
5. Integration Testing:
– Validate DB interactions with APIs, and mainframe app.
6. CICD Integration:
– Integrate DB tests into CICD pipelines for continuous validation.
7. Defect ReportingTracking:
– Log issues found during DB testing and work with developers to resolve them.
