Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mainframe Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, SPUFI, VSAM, and DB2. You will work closely with business analysts and other technical teams to design, build, test, and implement solutions that support our business operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 12 to 15 years of experience in Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe applications using below skills:
- Proven experience with:
- COBOL programming
- JCL (Job Control Language)
- SPUFI (SQL Processing Using File Input)
- VSAM (Virtual Storage Access Method)
- DB2 (Relational Database Management System)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
