Title: UI Developer with Airbus and FMS
Role Overview:
Client is seeking a UI Developer with Airbus and FMS (New Flight Management System) expertise to join in a 6-month engagement with possible extensions. The role requires CI/FMCI functional experience for Airbus FMS, along with proven UI development skills in aerospace/avionics applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance UI modules for Airbus and FMS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FMS features.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace software standards and safety-critical guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and optimize UI functionality throughout the lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5–8 years in UI / software development.
- Strong experience with Airbus FMS User Interface (UI) / Crew Interface (CI).
- Hands-on knowledge of CI / FMCI functional areas within Airbus FMS.
- Experience with ADA-based UI development or WebCIDT (Airbus internal crew interface tool / language).
- Debugging, integration, and optimization of cockpit UI features.
- Prior avionics / Airbus FMS experience preferred
