Job Description:
Candidate must have a strong background in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing the SAP EWM solution for clients. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions to improve warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- EWM Implementation & Configuration:
- Lead and support the implementation and configuration of SAP EWM modules.
- Customize SAP EWM solutions to meet client-specific requirements, including configuration of warehouse structures, storage types, bin management and inventory management.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements related to warehouse management processes.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and configure the SAP EWM system to meet business needs.
- Identify areas of improvement within warehouse operations and leverage SAP EWM capabilities to enhance efficiency.
- Implement best practices to optimize warehouse operations such as inventory management, order picking, shipping, Inspection of the Products and receiving.
- Integrate SAP EWM with other SAP modules such as SAP PTP, SAP OBC, SAP QM, SAP FI and third-party logistics systems.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP EWM issues, resolving defects, Execution of test scripts in HP ALM
