Job Description :
We are seeking a hands on DevOps Engineer with strong experience in modern middleware environments to support WebLogic 12c+ (or JBoss EAP) deployments in cloud and containerized infrastructures. This is not a legacy admin role we are looking for someone who can automate, optimize, and modernize our platform.
Hiring manager is looking for the below experience:
Required Skills
- 15+ years hands on DevOps experience with middleware platforms.
- Experience with WebLogic 12c+ (preferred) and/or JBoss EAP in production environments.
- Strong scripting skills (Shell must have; Python/Perl nice to have).
- Pipeline coding experience (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.) required.
- Familiarity with IaC (Terraform) and configuration management tools (Ansible/Chef/Puppet).
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Podman) and ideally Kubernetes operators for WebLogic.
- Azure cloud experience is a plus.
- Focus is on automation, IaC, and modernization rather than just maintaining legacy WebLogic environments.
