Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) Administrator to join our team for a remote position supporting utility clients, preferably in the NYC region. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle CC&B environments, system administration, and hands-on experience in managing application deployments, configurations, and performance tuning.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Oracle CC&B application environments (development, test, production).
  • Perform application installations, upgrades, patches, and configurations.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with developers, DBAs, and business teams for system integration, support, and performance optimization.
  • Configure and manage WebLogic servers and other middleware components used in CC&B.
  • Automate administrative tasks and maintain documentation for processes and configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
  • Provide production support including on-call duties, issue resolution, and incident management.

 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3+ years dedicated to Oracle CC&B administration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle CC&B v2.x or higher.
  • Proficiency with WebLogic Server, Oracle Database, and Unix/Linux administration.
  • Experience with application performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience in utility industry projects (water, electric, gas) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
