Job Title: Lead ITOM Technical Consultant (CMDB Configuration Specialist)

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead ITOM Technical Consultant with deep expertise in ServiceNow CMDB advanced configuration and data segregation within non-domain-separated instances. The consultant will work under the direction of the customer to design and implement secure, scalable configuration strategies while maintaining CMDB integrity and usability.
Scope of Work
Lead advanced CMDB configuration with a focus on data segregation of Configuration Items (CIs) among distinct user groups
Design and implement solutions for ACLs, CI visibility rules, access controls, and security constraints within a non-domain-separated ServiceNow instance
Collaborate with customer stakeholders to gather requirements, define architecture, and deliver configured solutions
Provide expert guidance on ITOM and CMDB best practices
Troubleshoot and optimize CMDB data quality, relationships, and structure
Deliver updates and recommendations clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Technical Consultant
Proven expertise with ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB architecture/configuration
Strong experience with custom data segregation strategies without domain separation
Advanced understanding of ACLs, roles, CI classes, Discovery impacts, and security models
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Ability to work independently in a remote, customer-led environment
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow ITOM Implementation or CMDB certifications
Prior consulting or staff augmentation experience
Strong documentation and architectural design skills
