Job Title: QA Lead – Playwright (QA Lead) 

Onsite– Santa Clara, CA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Lead to drive our quality assurance initiatives, with a strong focus on automation using the Playwright framework. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in test automation, leadership experience, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. Also leverage AI tools for productivity gains and efficiency 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead QA planning, strategy, and execution across multiple projects.
• Design and implement robust test automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Use AI  tools and frameworks, ChatGPT for test cases development and execution to improve efficiency 
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Conduct regression, performance, and integration testing.
• Monitor test execution, identify bugs, and drive resolution with development teams.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers.
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices and continuous process improvement.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain documentation for test cases, procedures, and results.
• Contribute to ERP system testing (if applicable).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 9–12 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with 2–3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end test automation.
• Should have used AI tools for increased efficiency and productivity 
• Proficient in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with REST API testing using tools like Postman.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Solid understanding of automation frameworks, test design, and CI/CD integration.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Experience in ERP testing is highly desirable
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Git.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
