Backend Golang Developer – Local Talent Only (Bay Area)
Location: Bay Area (100% Onsite)
Type: Contract (W-2)
What You’ll Do:

Design, develop, and maintain applications and services using Golang

Build and optimize relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, including schema design, indexing, and query performance
-
Develop and maintain event-driven architectures with Kafka or RabbitMQ for reliable, scalable data streaming
-
Utilize Redis or other caching technologies to improve performance and scalability
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Business) to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver high-quality solutions

Own features and projects end-to-end, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and production monitoring

Write clean, maintainable, and secure code; participate in peer code reviews
-
Implement automated testing strategies to ensure reliability and performance

Monitor live systems, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously refine performance and scalability
Requirements:

Strong proficiency in Golang
-
Experience with relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, including schema design and optimization

Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ for event streaming

Familiarity with Redis is a plus

Must be able to work onsite in Fremont, CA
