What You’ll Do

Full-Stack Architectural Leadership

  • Design and build distributed backend services using Golang
  • Develop scalable frontend applications using React (OneApp experience is a strong plus)
  • Drive architectural decisions across backend and frontend ecosystems

Cloud-Native Engineering

  • Architect and evolve Kubernetes foundations
  • Implement containerization strategies using Docker
  • Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions

End-to-End Delivery Ownership

  • Lead initiatives from Proof of Concept (POC) through General Availability (GA)
  • Ensure enterprise-grade functional and non-functional requirements are met

Data & System Integrity

  • Define complex data schemas and system artifacts
  • Design secure, high-performance data flow patterns

Engineering Excellence & Observability

  • Establish QA, regression testing, and release validation strategies
  • Design and integrate Observability (O11Y) frameworks including:
    • Metrics
    • Logging
    • Alerting
  • Ensure compliance with strict SLOs

Technical Governance & Mentorship

  • Create architectural diagrams and ADRs (Architecture Decision Records)
  • Partner with Staff Architects to influence enterprise-wide technical strategy
  • Act as a primary escalation point for Engineer II & III levels
  • Provide trade-off analysis and unblock delivery through sound technical guidance

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Deep, hands-on expertise with Golang in production environments
  • Strong experience with distributed systems architecture
  • Solid frontend experience with React
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Kubernetes
    • Docker
    • GitHub Actions / CI-CD pipelines
  • Proven ability to translate strategic roadmaps into execution plans
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills (Draw.io or similar tools)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with OneApp frameworks
  • Prior experience in enterprise-scale or high-growth environments
  • Strong background in resiliency engineering and platform observability
