Job overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Architect (Salesforce) to design, develop, integrate, and support robust Salesforce solutions for its health benefit systems. The selected candidate will play a key leadership role in defining the system architecture, ensuring integration compliance, and optimizing performance across platforms—primarily the Medicaid Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable and secure enterprise solutions using Salesforce.
- Develop system integration strategies with web applications and middleware platforms.
- Design and enforce application architecture standards and documentation.
- Lead platform performance reviews and compliance with security standards.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure reliable AWS Cloud deployments.
- Provide leadership to development teams for system integration, testing, and deployment.
- Conduct troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and code debugging.
- Prepare packages for deployment from sandbox to production environments.
- Support testing activities: unit, functional, load, end-to-end, and UAT.
- Adhere to MHBE PMO, change control, and security policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years as a Salesforce Systems Architect or Solutions Expert.
- 5+ years integrating Salesforce with PostgreSQL/SQL and MongoDB.
- 4+ years in Salesforce development using Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL.
- 3+ years in packaging/deploying apps using ANT, change sets.
- Experience with REST/SOAP integration, metadata deployment, and Salesforce tools like Force.com IDE, Data Loader, and Sublime.
- 10+ years in Salesforce architecture and large-scale integration projects.
- Experience with ACA, Integrated Eligibility, or other HHS systems.
- Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Chatter, AppExchange.
- Expertise in Salesforce Einstein, predictive analytics, or AI-based automation.
- Familiarity with AJAX, jQuery, Highcharts, and Web APIs.
- Salesforce Architect Certification highly preferred.
- Prior experience working within a PMO structure
