As a Security Account Manager within Oracle Cloud Solution Services (CSS), you will act as the primary security advisor and advocate for assigned clients. Your role centers on guiding enterprise customers through security best practices, incident response, and compliance requirements for cloud and on-premises Oracle solutions. You will build trusted partnerships, proactively identify client security needs, and coordinate the delivery of Oracle security services to drive customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customers regarding all security-related topics.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and Oracle internal teams to plan, deliver, and optimize security services.
- Advise customers on Oracle and industry security standards, compliance frameworks, and risk management strategies.
- Support clients through security inquiries, coordinate response efforts, and facilitate communication with Oracle security experts.
- Perform regular security posture reviews, track remediation actions, and ensure timely closure of security issues.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client security and propose relevant Oracle CSS solutions.
- Keep clients informed on the latest threat intelligence, regulatory changes, and product security updates affecting their Oracle environments.
- Document customer interactions, maintain detailed records of security initiatives, and generate status reports for both customers and Oracle management.
- Champion security awareness and best practices within client organizations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related field; security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in security account management, consulting, or technical client-facing roles.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably Oracle Cloud), security technologies, and best practices.
- Strong communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed, and global environment.
Demonstrated expertise in security assessments, and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
