Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Required (Primary Preference – IEE)
• Hands-on experience with Itron Enterprise Edition (IEE) in a production utility environment.
• Strong understanding of metering concepts, including interval data, TOU, registers, and events.
• Experience working with electric and/or gas meters and AMI systems.
• Knowledge of utility data flows across metering, billing, and operational systems.

Alternate Qualification (If IEE Experience Is Limited)
• Strong hands-on experience with Meter Data Management Systems (MDMS) such as:
o Itron, Oracle MDM, SAP IS-U Device Management, or similar platforms
• Ability to quickly ramp up on IEE architecture, modules, and configuration.
• Strong understanding of MDM data models, validation rules, and meter integration patterns.

Technical Skills
• SQL and database querying for data analysis and troubleshooting
• Experience with batch processing, file-based interfaces, and/or messaging frameworks
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments
• Understanding of utility integration standards and formats

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting AMI or Smart Metering programs
• Prior utility industry experience (electric, gas, or water)
• Experience working in production support and enhancement roles
• Knowledge of outage, billing, or customer systems integration
• Exposure to SAP IS-U, CIS modernization, or cloud-based analytics platforms
