We are NOT looking for Oracle/Postgres DBAs with limited exposure.
Candidates must have extensive, hands-on experience with DynamoDB and Couchbase as primary databases.
Mandatory Skills:
• Strong experience with AWS DynamoDB (design, scaling, performance tuning)
• Deep expertise in Couchbase administration and architecture
• Hands-on experience with AWS (cloud-native database operations)
• Expertise in NoSQL data modeling and optimization
• Experience with high availability, replication, and disaster recovery
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, deploy, and manage DynamoDB and Couchbase environments
• Optimize database performance, scalability, and availability
• Handle data modeling, indexing, and query optimization
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
• Monitor database health and proactively resolve issues
• Collaborate with application and cloud engineering teams
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of monitoring tools and observability platforms
• Experience in large-scale, high-traffic production environments
Ideal Candidate:
