We are seeking an experienced Network Voice SME with deep expertise in Cisco Webex Calling (Cloud Calling), enterprise voice networks, and unified communications. The candidate will be responsible for design, deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization of cloud and hybrid voice solutions.
Key Responsibilities1. Design & Architecture
- Design and implement Cisco Webex Calling solutions (multi-tenant / dedicated instance).
- Architect hybrid voice environments integrating:
- On-prem CUCM (Cisco Unified Communications Manager)
- PSTN connectivity (SIP trunks, local gateways)
- Plan dial plans, call routing, and numbering schemes.
2. Implementation & Migration
- Lead migration from legacy voice systems (e.g., CUCM, Avaya) to Webex Calling.
- Configure:
- Webex Control Hub
- Local Gateway (CUBE)
- SIP trunks and PSTN integrations
- Execute number porting and cutover strategies.
3. Troubleshooting & Support
- Provide L3/L4 support for voice and collaboration issues.
- Troubleshoot:
- SIP signaling issues
- Call failures, jitter, latency, packet loss
- QoS and network-related voice issues
- Use tools like:
- RTMT, Wireshark, Webex analytics
4. Network & Voice Integration
- Ensure network readiness for voice (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).
- Implement QoS policies for voice/video traffic.
- Work with firewall/NAT configurations for SIP/media flows.
5. Security & Compliance
- Implement secure voice architectures (TLS, SRTP).
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.
6. Monitoring & Optimization
- Monitor performance using Webex Control Hub analytics.
- Optimize call quality and user experience.
- Perform capacity planning.

- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN
- QoS (DSCP, queuing, shaping)
