Position: Lead QA
Location: Hybrid in Tampa, FL
Duration: 12 months
Client is seeking A senior Lead QA engineer with experience in Automation testing Financial (Banking, Capital Markets or FIS) applications using Java, TestNG, Selenium as well as experience with Xpath axes and CSS selectors. Strong Recent Banking Or Capital Markets Experience Is Required
Responsibilities:
- Building robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional and regression testing.
- Developing code for quality automation and ensuring extensive test coverage of the code.
- Building, customizing, deploying, and managing the test automation frameworks.
- Providing documentation and reports of the test results
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering).
- 8+ years of QA Testing experience
- 2 Years hands on Automation Experience
- Experience using Java, TestNG, Selenium.
- Must have experience with Xpath axes and CSS selectors
- Firm knowledge of automation standard and best practices
- In depth knowledge of common automation design patterns such as the page object model
- In depth knowledge of software development 5 methodologies
- Must have hands-on experience in bitbucket with automation code merge/push process
- Strong debugging and triage skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong analysis and problem solving skills
- Candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to handle multiple responsibilities in an enterprise agile environment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Demonstrate a high level of motivation confidence, integrity, and responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of agile best practices including QA’s role on a scrum team
- Must be able to present work in a clear and understandable manner
- Must be able to work independently with minimal assistance
A plus:
- Experience testing APIs using postman or RestAssured
- Experience working with multithreaded test execution
- Experience writing test related documentation such as test plans, strategies, or post testing reports
