We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with strong expertise in regulatory reporting within the banking/financial domain. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring accurate and compliant regulatory reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for regulatory reporting.
  • Work closely with finance, risk, and compliance teams to understand reporting needs.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Support development teams in implementing regulatory reporting solutions.
  • Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation for reporting accuracy.
  • Participate in system testing, UAT, and production support.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and reporting timelines.
  • Collaborate with ETL/Data Engineering teams for data sourcing and transformation.

Core Skills (Mandatory)

  • Strong experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst in banking/financial domain.
  • Hands-on experience in regulatory reporting.
  • Strong skills in:
  • Requirement gathering & documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories)
  • Data analysis and validation
  • Advanced SQL for data analysis and reconciliation.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data warehouses.

Regulatory Reporting Experience (Mandatory)

Experience with:

  • Basel III reporting
  • Liquidity reporting (LCR, NSFR)
  • Capital adequacy reporting
    • Knowledge of compliance frameworks and regulatory standards.
    • Strong understanding of:
  • Financial data flows
  • Risk and finance reporting systems
    • Experience in data lineage, audit, and reconciliation processes.

Technical & Tools

Experience with tools such as:

  • SQL
  • Microsoft Excel (advanced level)
  • JIRA / Confluence
  • Exposure to ETL tools or data platforms:
  • Informatica
  • Talend
  • Familiarity with data warehouses and reporting tools.
