Java Backend Developer (API)

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

Experienced Backend / API Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that support enterprise applications and platforms.

The role focuses on building robust, secure, and high-performing backend systems while collaborating closely with frontend, integration, cloud, and product teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs

· Build scalable, high-performance server-side components

· Implement business logic, data access layers, and service integrations

· Ensure APIs meet security, performance, and reliability standards

· Collaborate with frontend, integration, DevOps, and QA teams

· Participate in requirement discussions, sprint planning, and technical design reviews

· Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support end-to-end validation

· Troubleshoot and resolve backend and API-related production issues

· Follow coding standards, version control, and code review practices · Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, or similar backend frameworks · Solid experience in building RESTful APIs · Strong understanding of data structures, OOP principles, and design patterns · Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases · Good understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms · Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models · Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
