•         Must have experience supporting Dynatrace, they want someone who can make decisions and help guide the way with these upgrades

•         Client wants someone with a SRE/DevOps background prior to moving into a formal Project Management

•         3+ years in technical project management; demonstrable experience leading observability/monitoring platform upgrades or equivalent platform change programs.

•         Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise upgrades acrossLinux, Windows and Kubernetes (including Operator upgrades).

•         Strong competency in change and release management for production systems(patch cycles, planned host restarts, change windows).

 

Key skills & competencies

•         Delivery: project planning, scheduling, risk & dependency management, RAID ownership.

•         Observability tooling: Dynatrace OneAgent & Dynatrace Operator familiarity strongly preferred.

•         Change control: release planning, rollback design and controlled restart approaches to minimize impact.

•         Communication: executive presence for SteerCo updates; strong written communication for runbooks and program artifacts.

•         Collaboration: coordinate application owners, infrastructure, Dynatrace contacts and platform operations.

•         Adaptability in enterprise environments: effective across mixed delivery models, legacy and modern tech stacks, and organizational complexity while maintaining delivery momentum.

•         Calm under pressure: maintains clarity, organization and forward progress amid ambiguity, competing priorities and high-visibility scrutiny.

•         Proactive risk & issue management: actively identifies, escalates and mitigates risks and dependencies early; ensures leadership is never surprised by delays, scope impacts or delivery threats.

•         Tracking & reporting: experienced producing integrated project dashboards, RAID/dependency trackers and executive-level reporting.
