We are seeking a Senior Mainframe Developer with strong hands-on experience in Aetna Claims systems, specifically ACAS (Aetna Claim Adjudication System). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in mainframe technologies and prior experience working with Aetna or CVS Health environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications in a healthcare/claims environment
- Work extensively on ACAS (Aetna Claim Adjudication System)
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Perform enhancements, debugging, and production support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and delivery
- Ensure high-quality coding standards and documentation
Required Skills
- Strong experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM
- Hands-on experience with ACAS (Aetna Claim Adjudication System)
- Prior experience with Aetna / CVS Health projects (highly preferred)
- Strong understanding of claims adjudication processes
- Experience with batch and online mainframe applications
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in healthcare or insurance domain
- Familiarity with large enterprise mainframe environments
- Experience in system modernization or migration projects
