Job Description:
The Business Systems Analyst role specializes in identifying, documenting and analyzing business requirements, collaborating with Senior analysts in extracting business rules for systems for which documentation currently does not exist, by running positive and negative tests for identified use cases, verifying outcomes in databases and output interfaces.
Required Skills:
- Research to establish current state of a given system or business process.
- Run tests in QA to verify or extract rules.
- Collaborate with project team and product management on assigned aspects of the project.
- Maintain and contribute to system documentation under company-specific best practices and standards.

- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Fosters a culture where honesty and transparency are expected.
- Stays current on changes in his/her own specialist area and seeks out learning opportunities to ensure knowledge is up to date.
- Collaborates well within and across teams.
- Communicates openly with team members and others.
- Familiarity with Agile techniques and tools – Scrum, Kanban, Jira, etc.
- Experience testing in QA for input via web application or command line.
- Experience in writing SQL queries – comfortable with unions, inner and outer joins.
- Basic excel manipulations, pivot, lookup, if/elseif, substring manipulations, etc.
Work with multiple Collaborators to assemble functional requirements.
