Summary
We are looking for a mid-senior Technical DataBusiness Analyst with strong SQL and SSIS expertise to support migration of legacy SSIS ETL pipelines to Azure Data Factory ADF and Databricks The core of this role is to reverse engineer SSIS packages and SQL transformations and produce developer ready mapping and functional specification documents so engineering teams can rebuild pipelines accurately in ADFDatabricks
Key Responsibilities
Reverse engineer SSIS control data flows SQL stored procedures views configs and dependencies
Create source target mapping STTM docs with fieldlevel transformation logic and business rules
Translate existing logic into ADFDatabricks implementation guidance orchestration incremental loads error handling audit patterns
Document data lineage across Snowflakeon prem staging curated Databricks
Partner with stakeholders business actuary claims ops data engineering to validate business rules and define acceptance criteria
Define reconciliation checks and test plans to validate parity between SSIS and rebuilt pipelines

Required Skills
Advanced SQL complex joins CTEs window functions performance aware logic
Handson experience analyzing and documenting SSIS packages Derived Column Lookup Conditional Split Merge Join Aggregate Script
Proven ability to produce mapping spec documents that developers can build from with minimal back and forth
Strong understanding of ETL concepts incremental full loads SCDdeduping data quality rules audit columns error handling

Familiarity with ADF pipelines Databricks Delta Lake medallion architecture Unity Catalog
Experience with Snowflake as a source and on prem connectivity patterns Self Hosted OR
