Skills Required
- Technical skills:
- Solid RDBMS and SQL knowledge
- Strong database related hands-on development experience especially in DB2
- Experience with Java EE (Spring, Gradle)
- Exposure to Scala
- Familiarity with ETL
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows development environments
- Willing to upskill and contribute in software modernization journey to latest tech stacks
- Working familiarity with BDD and TDD approaches in software lifecycles
- Working familiarity using GenAI-powered IDEs, such as VS Code and Co-Pilot
- A generalist with demonstrated abilities in specific areas and a strong ability to deliver reliably
- Self-motivated individual and creative thinker who will take ownership of tasks and projects, able to work with the global team, and manage time and tasks effectively and independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with object-oriented software development
- Experience with modern SDLC methodologies, including Agile processes
Familiarity
Skills Desired
- Experience with a scripting language; Python preferred
- Experience in the financial industry
- Experience with JIRA and standard Agile ceremonies and practices
- Familiarity with Jenkins
