Job Title: Mainframe Engineer
Location : Jersey City, NJ (Need local candidates only, no relocation)

Experience – 8+
RTTO – 5 Days Onsite
Mandatory Skills – Cobol , DB2 , JCL . the candidate needs to be really good in DB2 as it involves a lot of DB work.
Sector: Banking/Financial Services
Required Qualifications:
• A strong understanding of mainframe languages and architecture.
• 8+ years of experience in mainframe projects using COBOL, JCL, DB2.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Hands on experience on mainframe projects.
• The role includes responsibilities like Design, Development, testing, deployment and deployment support.
• Strong knowledge of DB2 database concepts, architecture, and administration.
• Experience with writing, tuning, and optimizing SQL queries
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices and capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge
