We are seeking an experienced Senior Red Hat Linux Administrator with 12+ years of enterprise Linux administration experience. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), automation, virtualization, security hardening, troubleshooting, and enterprise infrastructure management. The candidate should have experience supporting mission-critical production environments and collaborating with cross-functional infrastructure teams.

Required Skills

  • 12+ years of hands-on experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7/8/9) environments.
  • Strong experience with Linux installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and system maintenance.
  • Expertise in LVM, file systems (XFS, EXT4), multipathing, NFS, CIFS, and storage administration.
  • Experience with Red Hat SatelliteAnsible, and automation scripting.
  • Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, or Shell scripting.
  • Experience managing enterprise authentication using LDAP, Active Directory integration, SSSD, Kerberos, and PAM.
  • Knowledge of SELinux, firewall configuration, system security hardening, and compliance standards.
  • Experience with performance tuning, capacity planning, and root cause analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware, KVM, or other virtualization platforms.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, NFS, FTP, HTTP/HTTPS, and load balancing.
  • Experience with backup and recovery solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience working in high-availability and disaster recovery environments.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes, incident management, and change management.
