Role : Network Security Engineer
Location :Remote (PST Zone)
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor network traffic and logs to detect unauthorized or suspicious IP addresses using tools such as Wireshark, Splunk, or SolarWinds.
Investigate alerts and anomalies related to rogue IP activity, including unauthorized devices, misconfigured endpoints, or external threats.
Collaborate with network and security teams to isolate and remediate rogue IPs in real time.
Document all findings, actions, and resolutions in ServiceNow, ensuring traceability and compliance with internal security policies.
Maintain and update ServiceNow workflows and templates related to IP incident tracking and resolution.
Participate in threat hunting exercises and contribute to continuous improvement of detection rules and response playbooks.
Support audits and compliance reviews by providing detailed logs and reports from ServiceNow and network monitoring tools.
