Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL scripts to support data processing needs and ensure data integrity within our Capital Markets systems.
- Utilize Python for data manipulation, automation, and building data pipelines.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deliver software solutions that enhance Capital Markets operations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices regarding database management, programming, and Capital Markets trends.
the key skills being prioritizing are:
- Snowflake Data Engineering
- Strong PL/SQL
- Python
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in PL/SQL development, including data modeling, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or similar data manipulation libraries.
- Proven experience in Capital Markets, with a solid understanding of financial products, processes, and data flows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques is a plus (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Oracle Database, SQL, ETL processes, data warehousing, or data architecture.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and development practices.
