Job Description:
We are looking for a GCP Architect to join our client Equifax’s technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-grade solutions on Google Cloud Platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture strategies that meet scalability, security, and performance needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud solutions on GCP
- Provide architecture guidance and technical leadership across development, infrastructure, and security teams
- Create solution blueprints, deployment diagrams, and architecture documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Ensure best practices for cloud governance, cost optimization, and compliance
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years of hands-on GCP architecture and solution design
- Strong understanding of GCP services (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, GKE, Cloud Functions)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Deployment Manager)
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, security standards, and cloud networking
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification
- Experience in financial services or regulated industries
- Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud strategies
