JOB DESCRIPTION:
Leading end-to-end delivery of multiple projects using on-site and offshore resources to maintain and develop applications for both enterprise releases and smaller maintenance releases. You will follow Agile methodology and ensure Security compliance with enterprise standards. Also make sure the Billing System adheres to SOX Audit rules. Monitor security vulnerability reports and Track fixes for reported issues. You will evaluate and recommend technology stack and ensure it is forward looking based on Industry trends.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop deliverables based on Business enhancements
- Enhance existing applications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Work on Digital Transformation and modernize the application based on new technologies
- Experience in working with very complex system using micro services architecture and using large databases
- Effective communication skills
- Partnering with Security, Engineering and Platform/Prod support teams at the appropriate stages in application development to ensure any new systems or projects leverage enterprise Development / DevOps standards
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
- 6 years of Experience in designing, developing, and deploying microservices-based applications using Spring Boot within a Kubernetes environment.
- Expert level proficiency in Java 21, Spring Boot preferably with latest versions.
- 3 years of Experience in working with Kubernetes, managing Kubernetes cluster, Docker, and containerization technologies.
- 3 years of Experience with working in a Cloud environment and Oracle cloud is preferable.
- Experience with working in an Agile environment and CI/CD driven development culture
- 3 years of Experience with Tomcat
- 3 years of Experience with Linux/Unix
- 3 years of Experience with Cloud and DevOps tools (GIT/Stash, Fortify, Jenkins, etc)
- Good working Knowledge of Oracle Database including reviewing and tuning complex SQL queries
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to develop quick yet sound solutions to resolve complex issues
- Time management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed, Teamwork and to collaborate and work with multiple teams
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and the corresponding ability to quickly provide sound decisions and recommendations.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Working knowledge of Kafka, IBM MQ
- Working knowledge of JSON, Camel
- Working knowledge of APIGEE
- Knowledge of GenAI and Agentic AI and AI Tools
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or master’s degree in Computer science or similar.
- 7+ years of Application Development and Technology Experience
