Job Title: Snowflake Architect – Snowflake & DBT Modernization
Location: Jersey City, NY (3-4 Days Onsite)
Experience: 13+ Years and more
Duration: Long Term Project
Key Responsibilities:

Review and optimize Snowflake data platform architecture for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.

Conduct code reviews of DBT models and SnowSQL scripts to ensure best practices and query optimization.

Tune performance of queries and transformation pipelines using Snowflake features like clustering and caching.

Establish coding standards, data governance, lineage, and monitoring practices.
-
Collaborate with and mentor data engineers and analysts; participate in sprint planning and architectural discussions.
Required Skills:
-
Extensive experience (10+ years) in data modeling, ETL/ELT design, data warehousing, and performance tuning.

Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake, DBT, SnowSQL, and SQL performance tuning.

Familiarity with Oracle Exadata and PL/SQL is a plus.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Snowflake Architect and DBT certifications.
-
Experience in banking/financial services data platforms.
-
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
