Role – PostgreSQL Engineer
Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid – Local only)
Responsibilities:
• Primary contact for PostgreSQL incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot query performance, connection issues, and data anomalies.
• Help developers debug functions, procedures, and triggers.
• Guide Teradata-experienced teams on PostgreSQL usage.
• Conduct Q&A sessions and create cheat sheets/quick guides.
• Highlight key differences between Teradata and PostgreSQL.
Requirements:
• Strong PostgreSQL skills in administration, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Solid SQL/PLpgSQL and debugging experience.
• Familiar with Teradata-to-PostgreSQL migration challenges.
• Good training, documentation, and communication skills.
• Bachelors in CS, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
