Senior AI Engineer (CA Local / Willing to relocate)

Job Title: AI Engineer
Location: Hybrid (2–3 days in office; California)
Industry: Banking / Financial Services

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled AI Engineer to join our team supporting a leading financial services client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern AI/ML frameworks and tools, developing intelligent applications and agent-based systems in a hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions using Python and modern AI frameworks.
• Build and integrate intelligent agents and AI applications using tools such as LLMS, LlamaIndex, and Agentic AI.
• Develop interactive front-end components using React for AI applications.
• Work with Google Agentspace and other AI orchestration tools to deploy scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance optimization for production-ready AI systems.

Required Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with LLM (Large Language Models) and LlamaIndex.
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks and Google Agentspace.
• Proficiency in React for front-end AI components.
• Familiarity with hybrid deployment environments and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex requirements into functional AI solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the banking or financial services domain is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI orchestration, multi-agent systems, or intelligent automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design for AI applications.
