Java Developer with Oracle WebLogic

What will the primary accomplishments for this project be?

• Analysis and Development estimation (85% of time)
  • Code Migration: Initial migration of source code from TFS to DevOps
  • Code Revision: Updating existing batch solutions to Java 17 or latest version
  • Code Deployments: Build out pipelines for lifecycle deployment within DevOps
  • Code Validation: Unit test changes and collaboration with QA for acceptance testing in the staging environment
  • Code Implementation: Migrating certified code changes into production and monitoring through stabilization
• Documentation maintenance (15% of time)
  • Maintaining technical documentation, including procedures and support materials
  • Maintaining change control documentation

Skills Required:

• Five years’ experience with Spring and Spring Batch framework
• Five years’ experience with Angular
• Five years’ experience with REST web services
• Three years’ experience with Java 17 or latest version
• Three years’ experience with DevOps and pipeline deployments
• Two years’ hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server
• Experience with UNIX, MQ and Oracle a plus
• Experience upgrading Java 8 to Java 17
• Experience in writing and maintaining technical documentation
• Experience with AGILE methodology
• Excellent troubleshooting and analysis skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience is required.
