Senior Network Engineer Remote
12+ Months. Could convert after. Must be able to convert now or in the future without sponsorship
Remote. Must live in EST or CST hours. Working EST hours
This is a replacement for a consultant that won’t have his camera on, isn’t engaged. They need someone who will be camera-on, engaged, ready to go. They won’t tolerate otherwise and will immediately fire.
* 5-8 years of experience in traditional WAN and LAN using Cisco products (routing, switching, wireless) and protocols (such as MPLS, HSRP, VPC, Port-channels, Spanning Tree, SNMP)
* 5-8 years of experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ASA, Global Protect VPN clients
* 5-8 years of experience with routing protocol (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF), QoS and traffic shaping
* Experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus line of switches and Cisco routers
* Experience with F5 Load Balancers
* Experience with Cisco ACI (Application Centric infrastructure) technologies and Nexus 9K
* AWS or other cloud infrastructure experience
* Understanding of Radius and AD authentication
* Experience with monitoring software such as Nagios products
Preferred Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in load balancing with F5 products, Palo Alto firewalls, and Cisco LAN/WAN hardware
* Automation experience
