Position: DevOps Engineer – AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation
Location: Tampa, FL or Toledo, OH (Local Candidates Only)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract-to-Hire
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong cloud infrastructure and automation expertise to join a fast-paced engineering environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building, deploying, and supporting scalable cloud-native platforms across AWS and/or GCP environments.
Required Skills:
• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP
• Proven experience managing Kubernetes in production environments
• Extensive experience with Terraform and CloudFormation (writing, maintaining, refactoring IaC)
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and networking fundamentals
• Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or similar
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration best practices
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Helm and Kubernetes package management
• Multi-account / multi-project cloud architecture experience
• Security automation, vulnerability scanning, or compliance tooling exposure
• Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
• AWS/GCP/Kubernetes certifications preferred
Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable in Agile and fast-paced environments
• Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
