We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong middle office accounting experience to support our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of portfolio management, accounting workflows, and the full lifecycle of daily operations from start-of-day to end-of-day.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary partner with stakeholders to analyze business requirements related to middle office accounting.
- Document and assess accounting and position movements across multiple systems.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration of accounting workflows.
- Able to work independently, drive analysis, and break down complex challenges into clear, actionable insights.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build trust and manage stakeholder expectations
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing tight deadlines
- Consistently delivers high-quality, accurate, and timely outputs
- Ability to quickly understand new environments and hit the ground running
- Proven Business Analyst experience in financial services with a focus on middle office accounting.
- Familiarity with portfolio management and daily operational flows.
- Experience tracking accounting position movements.
- Background in front office accounting, or reconciliation.
- Exposure to systems such as Aladdin, RKS, or Geneva (Aladdin experience is preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
