The Jira Support Engineer will be responsible for administering, configuring, and supporting Jira environments for business and technical teams. This role requires strong Jira administration capabilities, including automation and scripting, along with solid organizational and communication skills to ensure smooth operations and user support.

 

Key Skills:

  • Jira Admin, Groovy Scripting, Post Migration
  • candidate with migration (from Data Center to Cloud) experience, as post migration activities plays a key role in candidate’s selection
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Groovy, JavaScript, or Python is a plus

 

Technical Skills

  • Hands on experience with Jira administration (minimum 3–5 years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Jira workflows, schemes, permission management, and configurations.
  • Experience in Jira automation (Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner, or similar).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Groovy, JavaScript, or Python is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of Confluence integration is preferred.

 

Organizational & Functional Skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to understand business processes and map them into Jira workflows.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.
