Required Skills
• They must have someone with proven experience building recommendation engines
• Hands-on experience with real-time inference
• Deep understanding of Databricks architecture
• Comfortable operating in an immature but rapidly evolving environment
• Ability to design solutions, not wait for instructions
• The data scientist is expected to be technically self-sufficient for their domain
• Influence how the business thinks about ML and is comfortable pushing back when needed
• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, with a strong focus on personalization and recommendation systems.
• Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Databricks, Snowflake or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience in deploying machine learning models at scale using MLOps best practices.
