Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Data Cloud Architect to lead the design, strategy, and implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly Customer Data Platform), data integration, architecture best practices, and the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions. This role requires strong leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to deliver data-driven solutions that enhance customer experience and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall architecture, design, and roadmap for Salesforce Data Cloud implementations.
Work with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
Design data models, data pipelines, and integration strategies with Salesforce and external systems.
Implement identity resolution, data harmonization, segmentation, and insights within Salesforce Data Cloud.
Ensure best practices in data governance, security, compliance, and scalability.
Collaborate with business leaders, Salesforce admins, developers, and integration teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Provide technical leadership in data ingestion (batch and real-time), ETL/ELT, and API-based integrations.
Optimize performance and ensure high data quality within Data Cloud.
Stay updated with Salesforce releases and recommend enhancements aligned with platform capabilities.
Provide mentorship and guidance to technical teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect with specialization in Salesforce Data Cloud.
Strong understanding of Salesforce ecosystem (Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce, MuleSoft, Tableau, etc.).
Expertise in data modeling, customer 360 architecture, identity resolution, and data harmonization.
Experience with data integration technologies (MuleSoft, Informatica, APIs, ETL tools).
Solid knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, and data lake concepts.
Strong background in data governance, security, privacy (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Salesforce certifications preferred:
Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant
Salesforce Application Architect / System Architect
Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (a plus).
Preferred Experience
8+ years in Salesforce ecosystem, with at least 3+ years focused on Data Cloud / CDP.
Experience leading large-scale, enterprise-level Salesforce implementations.
Knowledge of AI/ML, analytics, and predictive modeling within Salesforce.
